Volleyball Falls at Ozark Triangular

The Kansas Christian women's volleyball team played in a triangular hosted by Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Mo. on Friday. Arlington Baptist joined the Falcons to complete the trifecta of teams. Kansas Christian would fall in both matches 3-0. 

The first match brought on the Ambassadors from Ozark Christian. The Falcons fell by set scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-12 in the match. Sidnee Bergquist led the team in kills with four. Laney Shipley had the team high in assists with six. Olivia Bryson had nine digs. 

Arlington Baptist toped the Falcons 25-10, 25-16, and 25-7 giving Kansas Christian their second loss of the day. Abigail Dahman had five kills to pace the attack. Shipley offered up another six assists. Shipley also had the team high in digs with 11. Olivia Bryson reached double digits in digs with 10. 

The Falcons are back in action Monday night with a road match at Cottey College. Play begins at 5:30pm in Nevada, Mo. The Comets play in the NAIA and are a member of the American Midwest Conference.
