The Kansas Christian women's volleyball team dropped both matches of their triangular at Haskell University in Lawrence, Kan. last night. The Falcons fell 3-0 in both matches.
In the first match against Haskell, Brendeja Holloman had a season high 11 kills for the Falcons. Daria Korovina tallied 14 assists and 12 digs. The match was played as an exhibition.
The second match of the night counted as an official game. The Falcons took on Avila University, an NAIA institution from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Eagles would top the Falcons in three sets, but Holloman had seven more kills and Korovina had 10 more assists. Layne Shipley led the team in digs with 12.
The women's volleyball team will host Manhattan Christian at 6pm on Friday, September 16 for their next match as they return to NCCAA play.
