Kansas Christian women's basketball dropped a home game with Mission University on Monday night. The college formerly known as Baptist Bible College officially changed their school name over the weekend becoming Mission University. In the Patriots first game with a new name, they topped the Falcons 102-43.
The Falcons got behind early and couldn't catch up with the NCCAA Division I program. Laura Guillamat-Ribo and Nickiah Metcalf posted double-doubles in the loss. Guillamat-Ribo scored a team high 21 points and had 10 rebounds while Metcalf finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
The women's basketball team will compete at home again on Friday at 12pm in Cowen Memorial Auditorium. It will be Kids Day with our Overland Christian School Reading Buddies in attendance.
