The Kansas Christian women's basketball team won their first game of the season before dropping two exhibitions in their first week of play.

Six different Falcons scored in double figures. Danna Wagnon led the way with 15 points. Giuliana Caringella and Monique Hunt each added 14 points. Zhira Cephus had 13 points. Mae Norman and Brendeja Holloman each finished with 11 points. Holloman led the team in rebounds with nine.

The Falcons then took on Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. for an exhibition game. The Falcons would fall 87-50. Monique Hunt scored 11 points. Brendeja Holloman had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Cottey limited the Kansas Christian offense to just 17 first half points proving to be the difference in the game.
