The Kansas Christian women's basketball team earned a 80-33 win over Union College on Senior Night in Cowen Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday night. The win improves the Falcons to 11-7 on the season.
A 22-5 first quarter advantage for the Falcons in the first quarter set the tone for the game as Kansas Christian continued to add to the lead throughout the remainder of the game. Sidnee Bergquist led the team in points with 17 and Danna Wagnon added 16 points in the win. Brendeja Holloman scored 13 points.
The two seniors for the Falcons were Zhira Cephus, who finished with 12 points and seven steals, and Monique Hunt. Hunt tallied eight points and six rebounds. Both were honored at mid court after the victory.
The women's basketball team will host Faith Baptist Bible College on Saturday at 1pm.
