The Kansas Christian women's basketball team took a 61-51 loss at home to Ozark Christian this weekend. The Falcons are now 7-6 on the season.
Ozark Christian built a 13 point lead by halftime, but the Falcons made things interesting in the second half as they cut the deficit down to three at one point. A few late turnovers halted the threat, however, as Ozark pulled away for the 10 point win at the end.
Danna Wagnon led the offense with 15 points. Monique Hunt added 10 points and Brendeja Holloman scored nine. Ali Warner had the team high in rebounds with eight and assists with five. Sidnee Bergquist and Holloman each had seven rebounds. Holloman also had four steals.
The Falcons look to rebound in a road matchup at Central Christian College of the Bible next.
