The Kansas Christian women's basketball team took a 66-59 loss at Barclay College in their first game back from Christmas break on Monday. The loss drops the Falcons to 7-4 on the season.
The Falcons led by one at the end of the first quarter but Barclay came back to take a three point lead into halftime. In the third quarter Kansas Christain bounced back to retake the lead, but Barclay used a 19-10 fourth quarter advantage to win the game by seven.
Zhira Cephus tallied a team high 19 points and four steals. Monique Hunt added 16 points. Brendeja Holloman had 11 rebounds to go with her eight points. Danna Wagnon led the team in rebounds with 15.
The Falcons now turn their attention to their next matchup against Faith Baptist Bible College on January 17.
