Tieing Run on Base...Looking for another Walk-Off Win?

Kansas Christian opened the scoring in the first with 2-runs on an fielders choice and error by Dallas Christian.  Dallas Christian followed up in the top of the 2nd with an RBI-ground out, then in the top of the 3rd, Dallas Christian scored 3-runs on an 2-run RBI-double, 2-run RBI-single and another RBI-Single, moving the game to in Dallas' favor with a 5-2 score.  Kansas Chritian got it within 1-run on an RBI ground out in the bottom of the 3rd inning.

Dallas Christian took a 2-run lead on a fielders choice RBI, then another run on Error made by the left fielder and then another run, making it 8-4, on another fielding error.  In the top of the fifthe fourth, Dallas Christian scored again on a home run to right field, pushing the lead to 10-4.  Then again in the 6th, hit another homerun, giving them a 7-run lead, 12-5.  Kansas Christian was able to score one in the bottom of the 6th on an Error by the first baseman.

Kaylee Clifton started off the bottom of the 7th with a line drive single to left field.  Allison Boles followed up with a hard hit single to left field, advancing Clifton to 3rd pace.  Jadyn Clark singled on a line drive to center field, scoring Clifton, while Boles was erased on the fielders choice.  Two batter later, Angela Akerstrom doubles to left field, scoring Clark and cutting the defecit to 5-runs (12-7).  The Next batter, Josie Day homers to right field, getting 2-more RBIs and getting to within 3-runs, 12-9.  Jaden Adams singled on a slow roler to shortstop.  Hannah Wahl was hit by the pitch, putting the teing run at home plate.  Lauren Shafer steps up to the dish, she was 0-3 up to this point and was due.  Shafer took strike one, then ball one.  The next pitch she got slightly too much under the ball and popped it up to 2nd base.  Ending the inning and the threat of the come back.

The Lady Falcons made a valent effort to come back.  That is one thing about this team, they play to the end.
