Lady Falcons Fall to Hannibal Lagrange

The Kansas Christian softball team hosted Hannibal Lagrange on Tuesday afternoon at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy. The Falcons played two tough games against the NAIA opponent but fell by scores of 6-1 and 10-3. 

In the first game, Hannibal Lagrange got out to a 3-0 lead in the first. The Falcons answered with a run in the fouth but three more runs in the seventh gave Hannibal Lagrange the win. Ari Lopez tossed a complete game striking out six. Lopez also had a hit. Cheri Green, Alexis Williams, Danna Wagnon, and Hannah Wahl each had hits as well. 

In game two, the Hannibal Lagrange bats heated up scoring 10 runs on 13 hits. The Falcons had 10 hits in the game but fell 10-3. Alexis Williams hit a solo home run. She finished with two hits, a run scored and an RBI. Cherie Green also had two hits as did Danna Wagnon. Ari Lopez, Hannah Wahl, Sam Johnson, and Trinitie Butler finished with one hit each. 

The Falcons will host Ecclessia in an NCCAA series this weekend at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy. Friday a double header will begin at 2pm and Saturday another double header begins at noon.
