Cross Country Competes at Billy Mills Classic

The Kansas Christian men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Billy Mills Classic hosted by Haskell University on Saturday. It was the second meet of the year for the Falcons. In the men's meet, Aaron Wise was the sole competitor for the Falcons but suffered a back injury and was unable to finish. Jacqueline Kasubi ran for the women's team.

The Falcons have two more meets in the regular season. Kansas Christian heads to the Neosho County Community College Invite on Thursday, October 13. The final meet of the regular season will be the Ozark Christian College Last Chance Meet on October 29. These will be the final two chances for the cross country teams to qualify for the NCCAA Division II National Championships which will be held on Friday, November 11 by Ozark Christian College at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, Mo.
