Falcons Win Third Straight Game

The Kansas Christian men's soccer team won their third straight game and remained undefeated against NCCAA opponents this season with a 2-0 win over Spurgeon on Senior Day. Four seniors were recognized in a pregame ceremony Moe Oo, Abraham Atu, Thiago Sanches and Felipe Pampolim. Each were playing in their final home games as Falcons.

In the game action, Gabriel Farenzena and the Falcons earned their fourth shut out of the season. It was the second shutout win over Spurgeon this season. Farenzena played all 90 minutes in goal. Om Naing Hata opened the scoring in the 10th minute with the assist coming from Edgar Reynaga. Felipe Pampolim added a second half goal on an assist from Moe Oo. The senior connection proved to be the final goal of the game with the Falcons claiming victory in their final home game.

Monday's game against Calvary has been canceled. The men's soccer team will compete next at Ecclesia on Thursday at 4pm.
