Falcons Edged by Kansas Wesleyan

Kansas Christian men's soccer played a late night game at Kansas Wesleyan on Thursday. The Falcons held tough in the match against their NAIA opponent. It was the second of three straight NAIA matches for the men's soccer team. Kansas Wesleyan would prevail in the match however by a score of 4-0.

Despite a significant shot advantage for the Coyotes, the Falcons remained within a goal at halftime trailing just 1-0. Kansas Wesleyan had fired off 21 shots in the first half, but Gabriel Farenzena made 11 saves in the half and finished the game with 18 saves. The score remained 1-0 all the way into the 81st minute, but Kansas Wesleyan would net three goals in the final ten minutes.

The men's soccer team will play their third game of the week on Saturday at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kan.
