The Falcons scored in the opening minutes of the match and led 4-0 at halftime. Two more second half goals made the final score 6-0. Gabriel Farenzena posted a shut out and a win in his first start in goal for Kansas Christian. He logged all 90 minutes in goal.
Edgar Reynaga took an assist from Felipe Pampolim to get the Falcons on the board. Reynaga scored again later in the first half. Selemani Shukurani scored two second half goals. Roberto Mugabe and Felipe Pampolim each scored a goal as well. Pampolim also had an assist. Ombeni Mubengwa was credited with two assists.
The Falcons are now 1-0 in NCCAA Central Region play. The Falcons begin a stretch of matches against NAIA opponents with Park on September 5 at 7pm. Kansas Christian will face three straight NAIA opponents this week before returning to Central Region play against Manhattan Christian next week.
