The Kansas Christian men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Grace Christian in their final pool play game at the NCCAA Division II National Championships on Wednesday. The Falcons finish the season 9-8-1 after their third trip to the championship tournament in program history.
Grace Christian controlled the ball for much of the match against the Falcons getting 28 shots to the Falcons five. Ombeni Mubengwa and Kaboyi Kaboyi each had shots on goal, but Kansas Christian could not find the back of the net in the loss. Grace Christian used a pair of goals in each half to go on to the victory. Joao dos Reis made eight saves in the match playing all 90 minutes in goal.
The men's soccer team now heads into the off season after a great season that saw them earn Southwest Region Runner-Up and a top six finish in the NCCAA after qualifying for the championships.
