The Kansas Christian men's soccer team earned a 1-1 tied at #2 Randall on Saturday. The Falcons are currently ranked #7 in the NCCAA Divison II Men's Soccer Rankings. The DII Men's Soccer Power Ratings are released later today.
The Falcons played strong defense in the tie as they weathered 18 shots by Randall. Joao dos Reis allowed just one goal while making seven saves playing the entire game in goal.
Ombeni Mubengwa scored the lone goal for the Falcons on an assist from Paul Luwawa. Both teams scored in the first half, but after a halftime tie, neither would find the back of the net in the second half.
The men's soccer team has now concluded their regular season play after their match with Union was postponed. They will compete in the Southwest Regional Championship Tournament beginning on Nov. 3 in Keene, Texas. The host this year is Southwestern Adventist.
