
Falcons Shut Out Spurgeon
The Kansas Christian men's soccer team earned their eighth victory and second shut out of the season against Spugeon this week.
Joao dos Reis made two saves and allowed no goals in the Falcons win. Kansas Christian scored four times in the first half and held Spurgeon off in the second for the victory. They are now 8-5 on the season and ranked #7 in the NCAA Division II Top 10 Rankings.
Paul Luwawa took a goal kick from Joao dos Reis and found the back of the net for the first Falcon goal. Luwawa then assisted Elio Pereira on goal number two just 12 minutes into the match. Tluang Thang and Riuben Basubeche each added two unassisted goals before half.
The Falcons will now hit the road to take on Randall University on Saturday, October 22 at 10am.
