Men's Soccer Defeated at Saint Mary

The Kansas Christian men's soccer team lost 5-0 at the University of Saint Mary this weekend. The loss drops the Falcons to 2-3 on the season. A pair of first half goals for Saint Mary made the score 2-0 at halftime and the Spires would go on to add three more goals in the second half. 

The Falcons were able to get off three shots and one on goal in the match. The competitive match led to four yellow cards for the Falcons as well. Joao dos Reis made nine saves and allowed five goals. Saint Mary took 31 total shots in the match with 24 coming on goal. 

The men's soccer team returns to NCCAA action with a home match on Thursday against Spurgeon College. The match will begin at 1pm and will be played at Scheels Soccer Complex in Overland Park, Kan.
