The Kansas Christian men's basketball team is headed to the Southwest Regional Championship Game on Saturday after an 84-69 win over Dallas Christian in the semifinals. The Falcons are now 18-4 on the season and will take on Manhattan Christian in the championship at 3pm today in Moore, Okla.
The first half saw Dallas Christian play with a spirited effort as they led most of the half. The Falcon would take a 31-30 lead with about two and a half minutes left in the first half on a pair of free throws from Jahreese Jordan. From there the Falcons scored six more unanswered points and led 37-30 at halftime.
In the second half, the Falcons expanded their lead to double digits just minutes into play. Dallas Christian could draw no closer than nine points the rest of the way as the Falcons took the 15 point victory. The Falcons earned the win despite only hitting one three point shot in the game.
Jamal Clark led the offense with 27 points. Clark also had 10 rebounds. Elazar Conley was a force down low tih 19 points and 14 rebounds. Noah Brooks had 10 points and 12 rebounds giving the Falcons three players with double-doubles. Jahreese Jordan foced a team high five steals. Clark led the team in assists with six.
