The Kansas Christian Falcons take down Arkansas Baptist in a quick 2-game set. Manny Valenzuela went 3-4, 2-runs, 4-RBIs and stolen base in the first game. Leandro Mendez pitched 5-Innings, giving up 1-hit, 2-walks and 7-Ks. It was more of the same in game 2. Jesus Reyes went 3-4, 3-runs scored, an RBI and a double. Brey Turner had a good day as well, going 3-4 with 2-RBIs. Ben Shively was also good at the dish, going 3-3 with a run scored, 2-RBIs and a walk. Cody Ziegelmeyer took the bump in the 2nd game, pitching a CG, going 5-innings giving up 5-hits, 3-earned runs, walking one and striking out seven. Marcos Franjul combined going 4-6, 2-doubles, a walk, 3-runs scored and 6-RBIs.
The Falcons improved to 3-10 on the season and will take on 1-16 Randall College on March 8th & 9th in Moore, Oklahoma at Noon and 2pm both days.
