The Kansas Christian baseball team dropped all four games at College of the Ozarks last weekend.
In game one of the series, the Falcons fell 3-2. Cody Ziegelmeyer allowed two runs in the first then went the distance on the mound allowing just two hits and three runs, two earned. He struck out five and walked five. Chris Hunter, Stay'Jawn Hunter, Brilynn Stults, and Kris Davis each had a hit. Stults and Davis each had an RBI. Chris Hunter's hit was a double.
Game two saw Ozarks prevail 5-3. Emmett Lafleur tossed 4.2 innings and allowed two runs on four hits. He struck out four and walked three. Parker Byrant pitched 1.1 innings in relief allowing three runs on three hits walking one and striking out one. Jesus Reyes and Carlos Jones each had a double. Ben Shively gave the Falcons a 3-2 lead in the sixth with a solo home run. Brilynn Stults had two hits.
In the third game, the Falcons fell 5-1. Chris Hunter, Brilynn Stults, Derek Prensa, and Jacob Strobel each had a hit. Leandro Mendez pitched a complete game allowing five runs, three earned. He struck out five and walked three. In the fourth game, the Falcons jumped out to a 3-0 lead but the Ozarks rallied and pulled away for a 12-2 win over the Falcons.
